A single black pearl from Fiji that was given to Sabrina Kuipers, CCDP, CCS from her deceased father holds great significance and meaning and is a symbol for resilience, beauty, and growth.

Sand to Pearl Coaching provides individuals with customized career coaching through one-off services and coaching packages, as well as dynamic employability and life skills workshops. The unique advantage is that the coach focuses on her clients’ strengths and positive aspects of their life to build upon their assets. Sabrina has a strong belief in the gift of adversity and believes that there are no obstacles in life that cannot be overcome with the right tools and a positive mindset.

Sabrina’s family comes from the Caribbean island of Trinidad & Tobago and her fondest memories are vacationing to different islands and being on the beach. The beach is a symbol for tranquility, bliss, and relaxation - a time where there are no worries and all is good. There is no reason why every day can't feel like a beach day!

THE COACH
Sabrina Kuipers, CCDP, CCS is a passionate, creative, and dedicated Career Coach. She has worked with marginalized youth, newcomers, women, post-secondary students, budding entrepreneurs, and those with barriers to employment. These barriers include: low levels of education, serious financial difficulties, mental health, addiction, grief/loss, social isolation, eating disorders, trauma survivors, homeless or at risk of homelessness, in CAS care, and on social assistance.

Sabrina has helped over 300 individuals with career exploration, job coaching, personal branding, job acquisition and job maintenance. She has created over 150 hours of employability and life skills curriculum and taught over 40 different engaging and relatable workshops to diverse groups. Sabrina has worked in the non-profit sector and in post-secondary institutions in Ontario - McMaster University, Toronto Metropolitan University, and Trent University.

Sabrina completed her Honours BA in Social Psychology at McMaster University and went on to complete the Career Development Practitioner program at Conestoga College where she graduated on the President’s Honour List for obtaining the highest average in the program.
Sabrina is now certified with both the Career Development Practitioners' Certification Board of Ontario as a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) and with Career Professionals of Canada as a
Certified Career Strategist (CCS).
